Country of Origin: Yemen, India, Somalia, Sudan, Eritrea, Kenia.

Family: Burseraceae.

Description: It has been used since antiquity in incense mixtures to inspire prayer and meditation and to fortify and revitalize the spirit.  It is a powerful anti-microbial agent so its smoke is cleansing. It is also traditionally a sacred smoke.
